Today I went to Carlsbad/Oceanside and got to meet Kolena, Brian and Hayden Locksa. This little family is from Phoenix, AZ. but they are in San Diego on vacation for the week. I was so excited Kolena asked me to do their family pictures even though they were on vacation. Kolena and I have been friends on Facebook for awhile now, but today was the first day we met in person. Her sister Tawnya is actually the one who introduced us, so I felt like I already knew her when we met, but it was still fun getting to know Kolena and her family a little better. I always feel like I make new friends at the end of my photo shoots. I love photography, but I think I love meeting new people and getting to know them just as much as taking their pictures too. It’s an absolute joy for me. Not to mention meeting little Hayden. He was such a cute, fun kid! He is totally into trucks and jeeps right now. Everywhere we went he would say truck or Jeep, especially since he was riding in my Jeep. He is 100% boy! Being around him made me so excited to go through that stage with my own son. Believe it or not Kolena is pregnant right now. She is barely even showing and she is 18 weeks! She is coming back in September so by than I am sure she will be showing so we can get some fun shots of her cute little belly. And now for the good stuff! The Locksa family!
