Scott is the brother in law to one of my photographer friends. My photographer friend April is VERY pregnant and almost ready to pop any day now so she recommended me to take their pictures instead while she was getting some much needed rest. We didn’t want that baby to come too soon! I was so excited they picked me to photograph their special day, and they were such a great couple to work with. Here are a couple favorite pictures from that day.

Lisa & Nick were married at the Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad. That is another venue I fell in love with. What a beautiful location! There was so much character to the Ranch. I loved that there were so many wild peacocks everywhere. One even decided to walk down the isle during the ceremony. That place has so much history and beauty to it. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Nick and Lisa’s wedding. They were such a great couple! Here are a handful of favorite pictures from that day.
Here is our little peacock friend who wanted to be a part of the ceremony.

Here are a few from Ashley and Mike’s reception. They had their reception at the Admiral Kidd Club and I absolutely loved that venue. Good choice!!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
And last but not least… look at that beautiful sky line of San Diego! This venue had a great view of Down town San Diego.

Ashley and Mike were so great to work with. I really enjoyed their wedding. The day before their wedding they wanted to do a couple shoot since they never got to do engagement pictures due to the fact that Mike didn’t live in San Diego. So we went down to Coronado Beach and took some pictures at the Hotel Del and on the beach. That was so much fun! I am so glad we got to do that the day before the wedding. The next day they were sealed for time and all eternity in the La Jolla Temple. I absolutely love the La Jolla temple. It is one of my most favorite places. The only pictures that are not in here are the reception pictures. At the moment my hard drive is a little full so this weekend I will be working on archiving some pictures to make room for more. So I will post some of the reception pictures later. Oh and this was my first wedding I got to use my new lens!!! I just bought it and I was able to break it in. I am absolutely in love with it. I heart the Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens!

On Valentine’s Day I had the opportunity to photograph Lydia & Greg’s wedding. It was so much fun! The wedding party was just a fun group too. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
I loved that the groomsmen serenaded the groom! What a fun group of guys.
My friend Jennifer (on the left,) who is interested in wedding photography assisted me for the day. Here we are with one of the groomsmen.

David is currently serving at Seymour Air Force Base in North Carolina while Meagan has been waiting very patiently in Tucson, AZ till they can be married. Today they are finally able to be together and be married as husband and wife. David is one of my older brothers and he means the world to me. To be apart of this wedding meant a lot to me. It is kind of hard to be the photographer and be in the wedding. I didn’t really think that one through, but in the end it worked out. Thankfully they were able to hire a photographer just for the ceremony portion so I could still be part of the ceremony. Here are a few of my favorite shots from Dave & Meagan’s wedding.
