Ashley and Kyle welcomed baby Caleb into the world on September 6th.  This little guy is only a week old right now!  Kyle is currently serving in our Country’s Military and he won’t be home for very long to spend time with his baby and wife.  He will be going back to his base in a few days and than he is being deployed to the Middle East for a year.  For Kyle to have this time with his son is so precious.  I felt honored to be able to capture the pictures of this small family together.  I hope these pictures will help keep them all connected as they spend this long and hard time away from each other.

Madie just turned one years old on July 11th so we went to Summer’s Past Farm in Flinn Springs to capture this milestone in her life.  It was my first time going to Summer’s Past and now it will be one of my most favorite places to take pictures at.  My sister lives near Summer’s Past and every time I have driven by I kept telling myself I wanted to do a photo shoot there.  So I was pretty excited for this shoot.  Here is Summers Past Farm’s website.  I have to give them some free publicity! ;o)

They have a plant and herb nursery, an herbal soap shop, a tea/coffee shop and the most amazing gardens!  Absolutely beautiful!  They also host weddings there for anyone that is interested.  It is absolutely charming!  Check it out if you can.  Anyways, here are a few fun pictures from that photo shoot.

On July 1st I was able to photograph Katie’s children and some of their cousins that were visiting from out of town.  We went to Wind & Sea Beach in La Jolla and had fun in the sun and played on the beach.  The weather was perfect!!!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from that session.

Baby Madeline Smith had her baby blessing over Labor Day weekend and unfortunately the pictures her Mom and family took were accidentally lost.  Luckily we were able to still get some pictures of her in her blessing gown before she grew out of it.

Ben & Jessa just had their baby Madeline a few weeks ago.  This was her first planned professional shoot since entering into the world.  This is such a beautiful family and one of my favorite people to photograph.  I have grown attached to little Maddie, I feel honored to be able to capture these fleeting moments of this short stage in her life with her family.
