Tom and Anondi’s Pre-Wedding Couple Pictures November 7, 2014 at 6:11 pm
Tom and Anondi will be getting married tomorrow!!! I can’t wait! Today I met them to take a few pictures, since it will be a pretty hectic day tomorrow and they wanted to make sure they had some time to focus just on them. Most couples never leave enough time for that, so I was happy they wanted to do it the day before. We met at the temple and it was just a beautiful day. Can’t wait for the big day tomorrow!

Ray and my husband have been friends for years and this past year or so, we haven’t seen much of Ray, so we were a little surprised when he told us he was getting married! 🙂 I felt honored and I was excited that Ray asked me to photograph his and Naomi’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Cuvier Park (The Wedding Bowl) in La Jolla, so I was even more excited for a beautiful new location! And it WAS beautiful! Congrats Ray and Naomi, you guys look very happy together!
Mindy’s Wedding – Sacramento, CA March 17, 2013 at 9:56 pm
A few weeks ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to go to my dear friend Mindy’s wedding. I wasn’t the hired photographer, but rather a guest which was a lot of fun! That still didn’t stop me from taking a few snap shots though. ;o) I tried to stay out of the hired photographer’s way, so I didn’t take a bunch of pictures. I took a few of her before the wedding and some detail shots since I was one of the first people at the reception and didn’t see anyone taking any. I figured might as well grab some since her photographer was taking pictures of the wedding party. The reception was held at a beautiful mansion called the Vizcaya. This place was amazing and the food was DELICIOUS!!! It may have been life changing! ;o) Ok, maybe not, but it was pretty close. I was so happy for Mindy though. You can just see the pure joy on her face! I was so glad I could be there to witness something that made her so happy and fulfilled a life long dream of hers. To many happy years of marriage to you Mindy!

They were excellent dancers if I might add! I’m sure you’ll be seeing these two at In Cahoots dancing it up! I admire couples that dance, what a fun way to connect with each other.

Yesterday I got to meet Summer and Mike. They were such a fun couple to work with. They were married at the Downtown County Administration Building. The area was gorgeous! We found some great spots to take pictures at. After the ceremony they had their reception at Marina Village which was another great location. It was just a fabulous day spent with fun people!

On Saturday I had the opportunity to 2nd shoot for Melissa at Jess & Pete’s wedding in La Jolla. I haven’t worked with Melissa in over a year so it was a special treat for me to do it. Melissa has been a huge inspiration to me these past few years! She helped me get started in photography and with out her I would not be where I am today.
