Three Generations August 23, 2015 at 12:50 pm

My friend Jamie came to San Diego to visit friends and family this past week and I am glad we were able to see each other quite a bit while she was here.  Jamie was one of my first friends when I moved to San Diego.  We have known each other many years and she is someone that has been there for me through the ups and downs.  I feel blessed to have her as a friend.  While she was here, she wanted to get some pictures done of her and her girls, along with both her Grandmas and Mom.  I love doing generation pictures.  We were able to do that with Don’s Grandma before she passed away and I treasure that picture to this day.  Among the many pictures we took, I wanted to do one with all three generations of hands.  We had both Grandmas, one hand on each side, Jamie’s Mom, Jamie and both her daughters.

The Deering Family December 6, 2014 at 4:51 pm

Last weekend, I met the Deering’s at Old Poway Park.  It’s one of my favorite locations, but this time of year is SOOOOOOO busy!!!  We managed to make it work though.  On our way home, I found a fun new spot that I’ve been searching and searching for.  It wasn’t easy to find, so I am not giving up my secret location!!!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

James’ Family & Friends at 4:40 pm

The week of Thanksgiving, I met Matt and his family, (plus a few friend’s of theirs,) to take their annual family pictures.  We ventured down to Cabrillo National Monument and I loved it.  I’ve never been there, so it was fun for me to go to a new place.  Here are a few of my favorites.

The Carman Family October 23, 2014 at 7:00 pm

I have had the privilege of photographing these two little adorable kids since they were little babies.  Can’t believe how grown up they are now and they are such great kids!  Little Cade is already walking and running around, feels like I just did his newborn pictures!  I met the Carman family at Santee Lakes and it was so busy there with birthday parties, people fishing and enjoying the beautiful day!  I knew it would be a bit of a challenge to try and not include birthday parties and a bunch of other random people in their photos, but we managed it!  🙂  It truly was a beautiful day and we were blessed with the that famous
California golden sunshine, that we pay all those high taxes for! 😉

The Rowland’s 25th Anniversary June 15, 2014 at 9:09 am

Yesterday, I got to spend the day with some very special people.  Kris and Frank Rowland are my husband’s Aunt and Uncle.  I feel fortunate that I married into such a wonderful family.  Everyone of them have welcomed me with open arms and over the years, I have come to love them all very much.  Kris is actually one, out of two Aunts, that watches my son Liam a few days a week.  You can’t but help adore the people who watch and care for your children!  🙂 So to partake and photograph this special day in their history, was such a blessing and honor to me.  Twenty Five years is a long time to be married, especially now a days when most people don’t make it past the first year.  I couldn’t help but admire Kris and Frank on this special day.  Here’s to another 25 plus years to you both!  You guys are an inspiration!  On a side note, the Cathedral they held their ceremony at, was the same Cathedral that Frank’s Mom and Dad were married at.  What a wonderful way to honor both of his parents who have passed away.  Without further ado, here are a few select pictures from the day.

Family Pictures at Old Poway Park July 11, 2013 at 9:43 pm

I had the opportunity to photograph this wonderful family’s pictures at Old Poway Park.  One of my favorite locations!  I’ve photographed Travis and his parents a few times, so I was excited I got to photograph the rest of his family.  And what a fun family they are too!  We got a little rained on in the beginning of the shoot, so I was a little nervous about how long it would continue to rain and how hard it would rain.  Thankfully it was just a little sprinkle and we were able to get some great shots!

Travis’ One Year Photoshoot March 30, 2013 at 9:29 am

Last Saturday I met the Epsley family at Old Poway Park.  I absolutely adore this location and was so excited they suggested it.  Such a perfect spot for a little boy too.  Who can resist trains! 🙂
